What’s a skill you consider basic, that most people don’t actually know how to do?

Right now, I’m seated on a chair with my airpod bustling with a song from Burna Boy ft Mahalia and, just pointed towards me is a blue led light, quite dimmed but, calm.
I heard the blue led light helps contribute lots of positive things to the human system; its brains, eyes and, everything included so, I fancy one a lot. And, if I do get my space, i’m getting a lot more.
I’m a man of many skills. Jack of skills and, definitely master of all. I often don’t know how I did acquire or knew how I was capable of these skills as it all came into a rush but, I later became comfortable with them.
And, half the time, I’m convinced that, I still have some skills in me untapped as I’m really a versatile person; but, in due time, I believe if I engage in random activities, get my hand in a handful of few things, I could discover those untapped skills.
But then, here are simple basic skills I’m capable of which some people aren’t:
• Cycling – most people struggle with cycling or find themselves in tight spots when they need to ride a bicycle; I believe riding a bicycle is one of the simplest skills to grasp easily and, enjoy quite often.
I also did one time, found it hard to ride a bicycle as, I feared that I would fall off the bike if I miss a leg behind or, get onto the wrong gear but, with every day practice and, the removal of fear, I soon became comfortable with riding one and, although right now, I don’t have a bike, I hope to get one soon.
• Swimming – one of life’s required survival skills. Though, quite easy for any quick learner who’s a lover of water, are never fazed by little quirks it comes with and, are easily curious to what swimming methods are to be used in different situations, but turns to a horrific experience to other people.
Agreeable some people are aquaphobic, I do think swimming is one of the basic skills people should have in their sleeves and are capable of.
• Writing – I believe each human should be able to write. Even if they aren’t full-time writers or bloggers, each human should have the ability to write.
Ability to put on paper, how their day went, shared moments or memories they had with someone, experiences they had or may have had, learning phases and, goals and objectives to be achieved.
Writing should be part of everyone; though, it’s sometimes hard to put down our thoughts, especially spiralling ones but, as we slowly write, if at all, one line of sentences each day, our brain will adapt and, slowly, you’ll tune into that phase of being a better writer.
Not only that, it’s essential, we jot down things as this could come in handy when we want to relieve old memories or moments, or relive a particular phase or scene you once experience, hold in reference a particular rule you may want to apply to any similar situation in life.
Hence, write.
Above all, each skill sounds basic but, seem at first try, it’s essential you don’t give up and, keep practicing. Keep pushing and, learning and relearning and, ensuring you get a hand of it.
Happy New Month, also. ❤️
