Are you a leader or a follower?

How pretty much i’ve always looked forward to write on what I really do love and, has been an habit of mine.

The path of a man are usually in two routes; Following the crowd or making the the crowd follow me. He chooses his fate as his fate lies in his hand and, to not any another decider.

Though, deciding factors do play a role in a man’s role but, how man reacts to whatever situation he faces determines the routes he had truly choose for himself.

In as much as I sometimes do love following the crowd, I cherish leadership alot. It’s always been part of me; a side of me that always upsurge even when I choose to refuse being a leader.

Leadership for me is not just Leading a crowd though, that sounds pretty much its main duty. ‘Leading the crowd’ is one traits a leader should have in them.

But, leadership dosen’t just work on that way only; Leadership is about accepting your responsibilities wholeheartedly and with the people’s interest at heart.

It’s about working in alignment with what the people do need. A leader should possess a character of being selfless – Submitting himself to making sure everything he does not links to his own likings but, of that his followers too.

Leadership is not also moving people with you; It’s not about living extravagantly, unconcerned about your lifestyle or indifferent to what people think.

It’a about living rightly and uprightly to what the people expects from you. Your lifestyle as a leader should reflect what ‘Leadership’ stands for.

It should paint a good picture to the populace that you’re worthy of leading them and not the villain elected for chaos in the society.

A good leader would live up to the rules set up by either him or the society. He shouldn’t be an exception of social morality. He should be an upholder of what’s right and an opposition to what conflict the rules.

On the path of leadership will come tough times, turmoils, persistent demands of change by the people if there’s little to no change in the right pursuit of development or success in the community.

It’s therefore important a leader should stand confidence in his choice and stay relentless in the pursuit that things would get better as he leads.

Leadership thus do come with the sweetness of knowing people are obliged to you and believe in you but also, he comes with your obligations to give back in  good order what your duties are.

Inevitably, challenges would arise to counter what you had in intent but, being strong headed and immoveable; A leader can achieve any feats !

It’s without no doubts leaders are humans could also make mistakes irrespective if they are respectable figures in the community.

Being a leader comes with taking decisions and being the greatest decider of any acts done in the community and sometimes, that’s decision could upsurge with complex  issues.

And, a leader would have to preferably forfeit some factors, mostly not out of favouritism but, for the betterment of what concerns the people.

Still, this dosen’t change the facts that he’s still a advocate of the People.

I exude this characteristics and it’s always been fun leading the path alongside people for whatever greatness holds.
