What gives you direction in life?

It’s inevitable we lack focus or feel confused about what path or direction we choose to take in life. It’s just life’s pattern of putting us on different positions; either good or bad and also, positions where we’d need make decisions to come out of it.

Upon all of these, it all comes down to us to make a choice or to turn back and accept our cowardice. But, I choose not to.

I choose to not to stay within the little compartment that might hold me down. I choose to follow my heart sometimes when I need a drive in what direction I should take in life.

The Heart is a ‘nucleus’. Just like how the nucleus power most of the activities of chemical reactions in the body, the heart takes charge of what we want and how we think.

It’s what comes up with the thoughts that lurks within us. How we feed the heart is essential for how our we journey in life.

If at all, we don’t have feed the heart with optimistic thoughts and drown in uncertainty, we may lack focus on the direction of life.

We’re in control with how we move in life and how our life is being directed. If the heart is being fed with everything good, our perception about life changes.

We grow even more, we upscale our potentials and we feel even more fulfilled if we follow our heart and do well to bringing wonderful thoughts to it.

Notwithstanding, God also plays a role in perfecting our direction in life. He’s the sole orchestra of our life and he controls how our lives are being lived.

‘I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you with my loving eyes on you’ – Pslam 32:8

God promises to teach us how to live and also proffering ways on how to get a fruitful life. Not only that, he’d also support us with love as we sojourn in life.

‘Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not on your understanding; in all thine ways, submit to him and he will make your path straight’ – Proverbs 3:5-6

If we open our heart and submit to God and refrain on dwelling on our myopic understanding, he’s ready to further open ways and guide us in life.
