Do you believe in fate/destiny?
I for one, personally believe in Fate/Destiny; I believe our life/lives is or are orchestrated. I do believe that everything in the world including we, an entity, is being influenced perhaps by a creator or, are acting a script.

I do hold a belief that, nothing in this world just plays out in its world. Every action, every happening has once been written down and, just like in games where roles are being created to initiate an act, we have specific roles just in this world(game) assigned to us.
…And, for every role we play, there are certain consequences that stem from our actions in those specific roles we play. These are quite often likened to “destiny/fate”. Hence, why people sometimes say “oh! That’s his fate. That’s his destiny. He only acted to his script and now, we can actually say, in the dust we did come and, in the dust we will go”.
There are numerous perspectives that support that claim that, destiny/fate are really a thing and, we can’t just accept to be blinded by certain facts that, everything just happens for no reason. There is more just than a reason for anything that happens around you. We aren’t surrounded just by things only the eyes could see but also, things we barely get to see.
Fate/Destiny as believed by me and many others, I supposed, are supposedly a friction to many events. Newton believed “that an object won’t move unless, there’s a friction, or a force.”
The same goes with life. In real life cases, certain events are often these objects that are moved by certain things we can’t foresee or see and, though, able to repel against but, not in all cases.
Some of these perspectives are further seen in the following:
• Determinism(Philosophical View):

philosophy holds the point that everything happens in one’s life as a result of what could have happened prior to their present life; it attest that nothing just happens randomly and that, one’s future is the inevitable result of their past – one’s past influences their future.
• Free Will:

this is thus the opposite of ‘Determinism”, which states that, one’s future is as a result of what could have happened in the past. FreeWill attest that, one is capable of creating their own reality and, whatever future they may intend on creating. It’s “choosing your path” and, not triggered by any prior or future happenings that might occur. This doesn’t void the fact that, destiny or fate doesn’t exist, it just proves that, we are allowed to walk on any path we freely choose. Fate/Destiny isn’t constant, it can be altered by our doings.
• Existentialism:

as propounded by Jean-Paul Sartre, this states that there isn’t any predetermined fate/destiny for humans and, that we are just sole actor of our life who should/can go out there into the world to create a meaningful life for ourselves. He holds the belief that, life itself doesn’t have a script and, only we ourselves are the sole controller of what goes on in our life.
• Religious Perspective:

hold the belief that, human fate/destiny are being orchestrated by a God/gods. They believe that, nothing happens out of the blue for a human and, that, every turn out or chapters of one’s life have been written by a God/gods who is highly regarded as the creator of the universe.
These are the perspectives fate/destiny have been supported or refuted with. But personally, I believe in fate/destiny.
