Do you vote in political elections?

So yeah, my page dosen’t center around this but, i’ve just decided to engage it since i’m pretty much of a lover of Politics.

Elections are what I believe should uphold people’s preferences and rights. And, should also ascertain in what they believe in. Elections are usually chances to make a better change in the nation and not to worsen the economical defects surrounding the nation.

It’s also what assures the people that Thier right are being respected and not disregarded. It’s usually conducted to proffer solutions in any worst tenure the previous leaders might have done.

Personally, I don’t vote for elections. I’m apathetic. My country, Nigeria, would never make you want to vote cause’ your voice or vote won’t be counted.

It’s believe here voting is just a charade they get to engage the masses in and the final decision aren’t based on election bodies but the political representative itself.

The political representative takes charge of appointing themselves in the respective office. Even when they are not the winner of elections. They oppressed the voters, their voice and rights are being suppressed.

They get joy from pain or chaos the nation feels when elections are done. It’s an occasional thing and it has become an habit where their own interests matters to them than the state.

They feed on people’s hardwork, people’s pain, hunger and economical distress. They are barely concerned even less concerned of the tears of the masses.

They reside in large and big offices, believe to hold in high esteem yet they lack the ability to reinforce strength and joy into the nation.

I only believe in political apathy cause’ it’s of no use to cast your votes when it dosen’t count. When it’s just whisked away into the thin air and then wobble into pieces which only this leaders has been offering during their tenure.

The nation suffers from uncertainty and distress, poverty and inflation yet they seem nonchalant and even further influence most of the citizen to become their puppet.

In this country of mine, Godfatherism is the loud call for every politician as they submit to bigger bodies to gain power.

They lack foresight that ‘Everything dosen’t last forever’, it only lasts for few hours and then, it’s gone again.

It’d take time or even centuries till when this nation becomes great like how it once used to before this oppressive leaders came into office.
