Honestly , I’d say my parents do have lots of traditions which they did acquired as it wasn’t voluntary but compulsory if one is born in a community or a village setting. Each community, town of course do have traditions. Traditions may be customary, laid down ‘Do And Don’t’ thing. This strengths the community and it is believed that it sometimes chase negative things or anything considered as negativity in the community.

While growing up , I do visit my parents community, and I always they are lots of festivals being done , lots of customary actions. It’s basically like a community settings where most things are guided by laid rules and regulations. Most of the traditions do come in festivals , yeah. Festivals like the ‘Masquerade Festival’ where masquerade do come out , go around the society or community and sometimes bless people. It’s also believed that , girls ain’t allowed to see them due to things I don’t even know.

~ Water And Fishery Festivals : It’s believed that mermaid do stay in the rivers that surround us at my parents community and sometimes they worship them lol. It come as surprised to me that water is being worshipped and other thing even though civilization has taken over. Though , I don’t believe in any of these things.

Others are staying indoors and not going out by a certain time , not sweeping at night which I do think it’s the ridiculous of them all and also, avoiding looking at mirror at night. But literally , I don’t believe in these things. Most of them , I do think there are superstitions and lots of things like that.
