How do you practice self-care?

Practicing self-care and making sure the body isn’t too vulnerable to things that could be as a result of disturbance or distress is key. Here are most the things I do to have a better self care:

• Sleeping : Having an adequate hour of sleeping is usually good for body cause’ it tends to get rid of distress and fatigue. Usually , sleeping is eight hours maximum as noted by scientists to boost the brain productivity and help build the brain but me , I barely have 6hrs hours sleep. I’m like a ‘Jolly Bat’ that will always stay woke all night and usually watch Tv.

•Taking a walk : I get annoyed and irked easily at someone whenever they do the wrong things at the wrong time. I love timing cause’ every time spent is like ‘A thousand Dollar’. So , whenever I get in such mood , I’ll take a walk to get relieved of the distress I had experienced from venting my annoyance at.

•No smoking: I hate smoking. I can’t even withstand the aroma of it cause’ it’s so choking and sometimes a normal person can be hurt directly or indirectly in their body system negatively. So , I restrain myself from such environment or from such circle of people who smokes. Honestly, I’d prefer having a soft drink than smoking.

•Yoga and going to the Gym: Also , this is also a factor that helps in practicing self-care. Doing a yoga , going to the gym helps one to become fit and get rid of irrelevant fats in the body system. And , as usual I love being fit cause’ being an athletic person or being involved in sport , you need to be fit.

•Reading: I’m such a lover of book that people tends to call me a ‘Nerd’ or ‘Weirdo’. Reading helps to increase one’s thinking and mental ability to resolve issues. I do read lots of book and infact , I’m an author of some.

  1. I agree with sleeping,reading and going for walks.I would love to meditate but I feel too restless to sit still.

    1. You probably feel too restless cause’ you think a lot. Concentration is key while mediating. So , control your mind and thoughts , and focus on meditating.

      2. There’s time for everything. I’d suggest you make a schedule that will enable you to balance your time for doing chores and meditating.
